The institute organises an international conference on the conservation and promotion of heritage, with the theme \u201cThe Roman mosaics of Algeria: knowledge, conservation and enhancement\u201d.
Main themes
Corpus and study of the mosaics (Tipasa, Dj\u00e9mila, Timgad, S\u00e9tif, Cherchell);
Conservation and restoration techniques for in-situ floor mosaics;
Museographic presentation and cultural tourism;
Training in the conservation of archaeological surfaces.
A call for papers is launched each year and the proceedings are published in the institute's journal. The conference brings together Moroccan, Tunisian, European and Algerian researchers and students.
