Study Day: Islamic Ceramics

The institute organises a study day on \u201cIslamic ceramics of the Maghreb: typology, archaeometry and conservation\u201d. Morning session The question of glazed pottery in the Maghreb; production workshops and typologies; the importance of archaeological collections from rescue excavations. Afternoon session Archaeometric analyses (characterisation of pastes, glazes and pigments); conservation and museum treatment of ceramics; presentation of case studies carried out by students. Teachers, researchers and doctoral students are invited to present their work in the form of a communication or a poster.
