Welcome to the Institute of Archaeology of the University of Algiers 2. Training young archaeologists is both a scientific and a civic responsibility: our discipline preserves the memory of Algeria and opens up solid professional prospects in heritage, research and culture.
Three priorities guide the institute: the quality of teaching, the openness of research to the great national field programmes \u2014 Tipasa, Dj\u00e9mila, Timgad, Cherchell and the Casbah of Algiers \u2014 and the daily life of students, supported by the library, the laboratories and student activities.
