The institute is directed by a director assisted by a directorate for studies and a services administrator. It brings together the administrative and technical services organised as follows:
Instructional and scientific structures
Department of Archaeology \u2014 with the sections of Antiquity, Islamic Archaeology and Prehistory;
Department of Conservation and Restoration;
Research laboratories (LECMMA, Archaeometry Laboratory, Prehistory Laboratory).
Administrative services
The academic secretariat, the finance and logistics service, the documentation and library service, the audiovisual and computer resources service.
The institute's services are open to students from Sunday to Thursday. During the academic year, the library and the reading room are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
